A value of 95% might show up as a score on a test, a phone battery level, or the amount of a project that’s finished. It usually means something is nearly complete, but there’s still a small bit left.
To picture it quickly, imagine a bar split into 20 equal sections: 19 are filled and just one is empty. You can also think of it as almost all of the whole, with only a tiny gap remaining.
A common mistake is to treat 95% as if it were exactly 100%. That missing 5% can still matter—for example, a product that’s 95% accurate may still make errors sometimes.
